Used car prices in BCA remained steady in February as buyer participation increased and competition for the right vehicle remained strong.

Stuart Pearson, chief executive of BCA, said: “February’s sales brought great news for the second-hand car sector with stable prices and healthy stock outflows. He added: “Many major retailers are continuing to buy heavily to replenish stock levels, which have been particularly low over the past few months.
